Watch: Pompeo Exposes China’s List of ‘Friendly’ Governors … At Gathering of Governors [Opinion]

OPINION| Mark Sidney| It is becoming increasingly clear that China, not Russia, is going to be our main adversary for control of, essentially, nothing short of the fate of the world.

The Democrats’ shameful rhetoric on Russia, the absurd exaggeration of the threat Russia poses and lack of hesitation to blame them for, quite literally, everything that goes wrong, is even more dangerous that it appears on it’s face.

Sure, Russia’s government is full of tyrants and people who want to see the USA stumble and fall.  It has become evident through the trouble that Trump is having getting the DS to carry out his policy objectives, that our government has a smilier problem.  I am not saying that Russia is not a threat, or that we do not need to be conscious of their proclivity to wage duplicitous campaigns against their adversaries.  I am just saying that focusing solely on Russia and cozying up with China is going to end badly, very, very, badly.

While Russia may be a huge country when it comes to landmass, an economic powerhouse, it is not.

According to International Monetary Fund’s estimates for 2019, the United States’ Gross Domestic Product was about $21,500,000,000,000 (21.5 trillion dollars).  China is estimated to have created $14,000,000,000,000 in GPD (14 trillion dollars).  Russia, on the other hand, had a measly $1,600,000,000,000 GPD. With the total GPD for the Earth estimated at about 87 trillion USD, the US created about 25% of global GPD, China about 16% and Russia … under 2%.

Economically, which at the end of the day is what is most relevant, as money can buy anything a political regime desires, from foreign politicians to nuclear weapons, Russia is not even close to being in the same league as the United States or China.  In fact, they are even behind nations like France, Italy and Canada according to the IMF.

The reason Trump wants to normalize relations with Russia is because he wants them on our side when the next clash of civilizations comes, which, this time around will most likely be the United States v China.  The last thing we need is to have two nuclear powers, who occupy the vast majority of the Asian continent, both at war with us.

So every time you hear the media or DS hacks talking about how Russia did this, or Russia did that it takes people’s eyes off the real threat: China.

Luckily, Secretary of State Pompeo knows that China is the real threat, and he seems to be actively working to make sure our governments are not penetrated any more than they already are.

Unfortunately, it is not just the federal government we need to worry about selling out our country to the Chi-Coms.  State governments are vulnerable too, and China knows this.  They know this so well that they have complied a list of all 50 governors and list them as ‘friendly, hardline, or ambiguous’.  I took ‘friendly’ to mean compromised, because at the end of the say China is looking for Governors who are willing to ‘play ball” with them, and as the Sec of State warns, it is China’s IC that is making these lists, and organizing these gatherings

The Gateway Pundit explained:

‘Then Secretary Pompeo dropped this bomb, “Last year a Chinese government-backed think tank in Beijing produced a report that assessed all fifty of America’s governors on their attitudes toward China. They labeled each of you friendly, hardline, or ambiguous. I’ll let you decide where you think you belong, someone in China already has. Many of you, indeed, in that report, are referenced by name. So here’s the lesson. The lesson is that the competition with China is not just a federal issue which is why I wanted to be here today.”

Pompeo has seen the list.

This must have sent a chill down the spine of many of those state leaders sitting in the room.’

I encourage you to watch the whole video, it is only 2 minutes and give a great 30,000 foot view of the situation.
