Trump and Romney have been at odds for a long time. Many would say he ran for the Senate just to screw the president in any way he could. Romney broke party ranks last month, voting in favor of finding Trump guilty of abuse of power during the voting phase of the Senate’s impeachment trial.

Romney and Senator Mike Lee (R-UT), who also went into self-quarantine after interacting with Paul, have missed key procedural votes on a phase three stimulus bill. The votes ultimately failed, however senators have since struck a deal and plan to call up the legislation in the near future.

Sensators Cory Gardner (R-CO), and Rick Scott (R-FL), additionally missed the votes and are in self-quarantine after having interacted with different people who tested positive for COVID-19.

Paul is the one senator known to have tested positive at the moment.

In the meantime, Trump additionally took a swipe at creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti, Stormy Daniels’ former attorney, who requested he be released from jail amid the DTMNBN outbreak. A judge on Tuesday rejected Avenatti’s plea.  HA!

“Gee, that’s too bad. Such a fine guy. Presidential aspirations you know!” Trump tweeted.
